About Me
I have been developing websites for over 13 years, over 4 of those years professionally after I graduated with a BSc Internet Computing degree in 2005, and I have been continually building my skills and knowledge in (x)HTML and CSS.
I am reliable, organised, hard working and efficient. I am also a friendly and sociable person who enjoys meeting new people. I am independent but also work well with others in a team environment. I enjoy new challenges and like seeing things through to completion.

Front End Web Developer
Silktide Ltd / Silktide Studios
June 2005 - Present
I began working for Silktide immediately after graduating in June 2005 and since then I have been the lead Front End Web Developer working on hundreds of projects for a wide variety of clients, including the University of Derby, Derby City Council, Chatsworth House Trust and Film4. I have worked closely alongside talented designers and experts in PHP, JavaScript and Adobe Flash.
My primary role is coding accessible and compliant (x)HTML and CSS from third party designs and integrating them into the in-house Content Management System. I am also responsible for creating and maintaining email marketing campaigns for a number of clients and I have experience using WordPress and Magento ecommerce solutions.
